- Quantitative determination of radioactive (U, Th), precious (Au, Ag, Pt), rare metals beside other elements, which are important to the research in the field of processing, recovery, technology, biotechnology and have an important impact on the environment;

- The elaboration of national standards for characterization of materials and products in mining and ores processing industry;
- The European standards adoption in the current analytical practice;
- Studies of the local progresses in the analytical chemistry related to the authorized European laboratories ones;
- Analyzed samples’ type: rocks, ores, concentrates, wastes, soils and vegetation, wastewaters, surface water, technological effluents, recyclable materials (electronic equipment components).

- cations: Na, K, Ca, Ba, Mg, Sb, As, Fe, Pb, Mn, Cu, Zn, Ni, Se, Co, Hg, Al, Si, Ag, Au, Pt, W, Sn, V, Ti, Mo, Cr, U, Th, ∑ TR;
- anions: Cl– , NO3 –, PO4 3-, SO42-, CN– , HCO3 –, CO3 2-;
- other inorganic species: Fe2+/Fe3+, U4+/U6+.
- Usual analysis’s type: pH, conductivity, redox potential, hardness, alkalinity/acidity, oxygen chemical consumption, suspended materials ppc, moisture, TDS at 105ºC.
